Video Editor

At Home, we're looking for a Video Editor to join our team. You’ll edit videos for a different projects, ensure the quality and consistency of the final output, and contribute to creative decisions in pacing, storytelling, and visual style. You’ll also manage project files, versioning, and exports, while collaborating closely with producers, directors, and other team members to implement feedback effectively. We're looking for someone who is organized, technically skilled, has a hands-on mentality, and is eager to grow within the field of video editing.

About the job.

As a video editor you know how to make impactful stories come to live in our edit suite. You make 25 choices every second, have experience in working with a production team and always strive to make the most original piece of work out there. You have a feel for rhythm, you know how to turn the vision come to life and aren’t afraid to make bold decisions for the right outcome.

About you

• You have editing experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve;

• You always are on the lookout for the latest filmmaking innovations;

• You are familiar with the filmmaking process;

• You always think 2 steps ahead in a situation;

• You are a critical thinker who challenges the team on providing the best video content for our clients to get the best out of a concept;

• You’re a passionate team player focussing on solutions, rather than problems;

• You understand how videos are consumed on social, across all different platforms;

• Your English and Dutch is fluent in writing and speaking;

• You understand and respect the inclusive way of working.
